Commandments & the Law

I wondered again today as a friend and I discussed the fact that people and specifically pastors loves to say:"we are not under the law, but we are under grace!"
This is one of the main reasons why we have left the church system and denominationalism.
I mean, what do they want?
Some parts of the Commandments and the Law they keep and the others are not applicable because we are not under the law.
They apply to what fit them and the rest are chucked away.
Why?
Because if they don't then they have nothing to keep the people in the pews.
They have become pew potatoes.
What is the commandments?
This is the TEN COMMANDMENTS
the one that says
1. thou shalt not have other gods before Me
2. Thou shalt not make any graven image and bow down before them.
3. Thou shalt not use the Name of the Lord your God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath to keep it Holy
5. Honor thy father and thy mother.
6. Thou shalt not kill
7. Thou shalt not commit adultery
8. thou shalt not steal.
9. Thou shalt not give false witness
10. Thou shalt not covet
The short version.
Now this has been changed a lot so make man feel better.
Lets see Oh yea. The fourth commandment
The Sabbath day.
this one has been chucked out it was changed to Sunday and is not part of the ten commandments any more.
Okay now they have a problem 'cause there is only nine now and the bible says ten so thy take law one and split it in two.
Now we have ten again and all is well.
So then?
Oh yeah thous shalt not have any graven images of whats in the air, on land under the sea and bow down before them.
Yet, there are huge statues of Jesus and Mary and they worship before them.
Does this make sense?
Then there is the cute one that says thou shalt not covet.
Keeping up with the Jone's?
Then I have not even come close to the others that talks about murder, adultery, stealing. bearing false witness.
How many pastors are bearing false witness regarding the WORD of GOD ALMIGHTY every Sunday from the elevated pulpit position?
Bearing false witness by calling Sunday the Sabbath day
Bearing false witness by calling Christmas the birthday if Messiah.
Bearing false witness by celebrating pagan Easter as Pesach.
Bearing false witness by telling people not to worry about the tribulation because they will be raptured before the time.
Bearing false witness by telling people that the mark of the beast is not a physical mark but it is your sins being revealed.
Bearing false witness by telling people that they are the anointed of Christ and that no one can touch them or speak against them.
Bearing false witness by telling people that Jesus cancelled all the Commandments and all the Laws and that we are under the grace of God only.
Bearing false witness by telling people that once they are saved they are always saved.
Bearing false witness by telling people that the church have replaced Israel as the chosen people.
And so the list can go on.
So who deleted the Ten Commandments?
So what are the Laws?
The Law , is the Levitical laws that was written by Moses also given to him by God.
These had to do with food, hygiene, worship, sacrifices, whats right and wrong your basic laws and rituals.
So whats the problem?
The Commandments were given by God as an eternal ordinance and that it will be everlasting.
God did not make the laws everlasting.
Jesus came to fulfill the law not the commandments there is a great difference between the commandments and the law.
So are we under grace and not under the law?
Yes we are because we are saved by grace Eph. 2: 5.

Rom 3:31 Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid:, yea, we establish the law.
the other translation says we "confirm" the law
I believe with all my heart that Paul is talking about the 10 Commandments.
People often take the law and use it when it suits them and when it goes against what they want then it is not applicable.
I once made a joke to put a tattoo on my back.
The response to that was swift and immediately they quoted from the law that says that you are not to make any engravings on your skin.
My response was we are not under the law, I can do it. They turned red in the face and even the bold head turned red. You see they preached that we are not under the law.
Okay so by having a tattoo is not right as your body is the Temple of the Holy Ghost and we must keep it pure and holy before God.

We must be careful when saying that we are not under the law and then quote things from the law to show someone that they are wrong. It just does not work that way.

To turn the word of God to please people is wrong and I will fight anyone who will turn the word of God. For three years our ex pastor could not proof that there will be a rapture before the tribulation, yet he preached it as the gospel truth and gave text verses to proof his point.
And this is the mistake. By taking certain verses from the Bible you can proof many things.
But when you read the whole context of the text then you get the whole picture.
by preaching the rapture you contradict Matthew 24 because there is not one verse in Matthew 24 that says that there will be a rapture before the tribulation starts.
As a matter of fact Jesus warned them by saying that there will be great tribulation verse 21 and if those days were not shortened then no flesh would survive.
then 24: 29 says and immediately after the tribulation of those days the son shall be darkened and the moon will not give its light, the stars will fall from heaven and ten the sign shall appear and He will send out His angels to gather the elect.

Friend the time is short and the truth needs to be told.
I was forbidden to tell the truth in the church and told to keep silent.
If I do that I will be guilty and sin before the Lord.
So I left the church and I tell the truth to the people who ask by why I left.
The pastor hates me now, but that is fine but I will not be silent when the truth of the Gospel and God Most High is silenced by the Church.
Pray for the truth and the Lord will reveal the truth.
And then do not be silent.
